Baptist Temple is strategically located in a multi-cultural community where over 85% of the children live below the poverty line. San Antonio is leads the nation in teen births and hunger and is second in diabetes-related deaths. God has provided us with excellent facilities (built during more affluent days) and a committed team of workers who want to be the presence of Christ for our neighbors. Ministry partners from across the US help us minister to the physical and spiritual needs of our community. Every year mission teams come to Baptist Temple to work in VBS, backyard Bible clubs, food pantries, homeless shelters, recovery ministries, and more.
